Concert

Saturday 18th November, 3pm at North Road.
Featuring Anna Foster (soprano), Marian Aitchison (soprano), Marion Senior (piano) and Adam Gatenby (piano solo). The concert will include music by Schumann, Brahms, Rachmaninov, Quilter and Frank Bridge.
Tickets are available on the door - adults £5, children £2.



Methodist Studies Seminar

Wednesday 22nd November, 4pm at St. John's College.
'The Role of Hymnody in Methodist Identity' - seminar by Dr Martin V. Clarke. Arrive from 3:30pm for coffee; the seminar starts at 4pm in the Etchells Room in 16 South Bailey. Free, and all welcome, but please contact p.a.bissell@durham.ac.uk if you wish to attend.



Concert: Durham Station Band

Thursday 23rd November, 7:30pm at North Road.
An evening of acoustic bluegrass country music, featuring vocals, banjo, guitar, mandolin and double bass from Durham Station Band and special guests Its Acoustica. Free admission with a collection for church funds.

Saturday 25th November, meet at Elvet Methodist Church for a 9:15am departure in shared cars.

Durham City Nativity

Thursday 7th December, 6pm in Durham Market Place.
This Nativity production in the heart of Durham city returns for a third year. Casting has now taken place, but anyone wishing to volunteer can contact the St. Nic's church office on office@stnics.org.uk. Singers for the choir are also being sought - rehearsals start on 5th November, 3:30pm at St Nic's Church.



Coffee Morning

Saturday 9th December, 10am at North Road.
Our monthly coffee mornings are a chance to meet with others, take a break from your Saturday shopping and help us raise money for
church funds and our work in the community.
